Sweet Dozen sold special black-frosted heart-shaped doughnuts for $3. The proceeds went to the Black Youth Leadership Project, a Sacramento-based nonprofit aimed at educating Black students to become civically engaged and future policy leaders. The shop donated more than $1,200 from doughnut sales and additional contributions from customers.
