City Year Sacramento is excited to celebrate our fifth anniversary through our annual Ripples of Hope Gala. This evening celebrates and shares the work of 66 City Year AmeriCorps members serving over 4,000 students in the Sacramento community.
The Sacramento Food Film Festival celebrates food and drink paired with films about our food system. In partnership with America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital, Sacramento Public Library, Slow Food Sacramento, Valley Vision, & UC Davis, we will host a screening of Sustainable, an award-winning documentary about the “economic and environmental instability of America’s food system, from the agricultural issues we face — soil loss, water depletion, climate change, pesticide use — to the community of leaders who are determined to fix it.”
Join us for the 2nd Annual Barn “Raising!” Tickets are now on sale!! Each ticket includes: Parking and shuttle (at Colfax High School), a full dinner and dessert, drinks at the open bar, one raffle ticket ($20 value) into the grand prize drawing for travel and merchandise, a welcome gift bag, animal meet and greets, and a seat for Torre Washington’s talk with time to ask him questions.
