Position Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of integrated advertising campaigns across print and digital platforms. This role requires a proactive and relationship-driven sales professional who understands consultative selling and thrives in a performance-based environment.

This is not a passive sales role. We are seeking an individual who can consistently prospect, build meaningful relationships, and confidently present strategic marketing solutions to business leaders and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, outreach and referrals
  • Develop and manage long-term client relationships
  • Sell integrated advertising campaigns, including print advertising, digital advertising and online multimedia products
  • Conduct professional client meetings and presentations
  • Identify client needs through thoughtful questioning and active listening
  • Develop customized advertising solutions aligned with client goals and budgets
  • Maintain consistent activity levels and pipeline management
  • Represent Comstock’s at networking events and in the business community
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 5 or more years of experience in media sales, marketing sales or equivalent B2B sales
  • Possesses strong knowledge of multimedia and online advertising products
  • Networks with ease and builds relationships naturally
  • Is independently motivated and self-directed
  • Understands the value of collaboration and teamwork
  • Is polished, professional and confident in appearance and communication
  • Makes appointments proactively and without hesitation
  • Is solution-oriented and consultative rather than transactional
  • Is a strong listener who can identify client pain points
  • Is competitive, driven and ready to hit the ground running each day
  • Maintains a positive and resilient mindset in a goal-driven environment
