I know how to do Sacramento weekends right — it’s sort of a point of pride. 

Hosted by Region Builders and Citrus Heights Mayor Sue Frost, the Regional Leadership Council event highlighted leaders from the 6-county region and topics of economic importance.

The 19th Annual Komen Sacramento Race for the Cure was held on May 9 at Cal Expo. Thousands gathered to celebrate our community’s breast cancer survivors and pay tribute to those that lost their battles – raising funds and awareness and bringing us one step closer to a cure.

Mayor Cabaldon’s State of the City Address, presented by the West Sacramento Chamber, was held on May 5 at the West Sacramento City Hall Galleria. Mayor Cabaldon discussed a series of innovative partnerships that are paving the way for continued progress in the city. 

CFMA Sacramento hosted their fourth annual Construction Executive of the Year Awards on April 30, 2015, at Arden Hills Resort & Spa. With approximately 170 guests in attendance, finalists were recognized in the Construction Business Executive, Construction Financial Executive and Associate Member of the year.

The 27th Annual Wine and Food Fest was held at the Sacramento Convention Center on April 25. The festival invited guests to taste unlimited samples of wine and food from over 120 vendors, with proceeds benefitting the Make-A-Wish Northeastern California and Northern Nevada chapter.

Sacramento Habitat for Humanity held its annual Hard Hats and High Heels Gala fundraising event on April 9. The event featured a 5-course farm-to-fork wine dinner and a live auction led by David Sobon. 

On March 24 at the Pavilions Shopping Center developer Federico Cohan, founder of Luxe Urban Life Inc., introduced his new development project.

The 2nd annual Emerge Summit brought more than 600 attendees together at the Crest Theatre to to empower, motivate and showcase young professionals.

On March 19th, the Association of Commercial Real Estate gathered at the Hyatt Regency Grand Ballroom to celebrate their top achievers. More than $200,000 was raised for Lilliput Children’s Services.
