A docent is just a fancy term for a museum guide, and this year, the Crocker is looking for more than a few good guides. We have big plans to give all of Sacramento a tour of the Crocker, and we need you to make this happen.

If you are interested in meeting new people, learning fun things, and would enjoy spending time in the visually stimulating environment of an art museum, consider becoming a Crocker docent.

You may be surprised to know that we are not looking for people with massive art knowledge. We are looking for people who enjoy being around other people. If that is you, come to our Docent Open House to hear more about the application process for becoming a docent. Advance registration is required.
