Following the IDEO presentation the night before at Sacramento State University, AIA architects Saxon Sigerson, AI; Arturo Levenfeld, AIA; and Kris Barkley, AIA  will host a casual evening of discussion taking the topic of “design thinking” in architecture a step further.

Design thinking is the process of developing ideas and concepts related to the design of anything that can be imagined that might serve humanity or nature. Architects often think differently than those in other fields, but whether designing graphics, industrial products, homes or buildings, architects apply “design thinking” to find unique solutions.
