River City Food Bank Empty Bowls Event

Back Mar 13, 2017

Empty Bowls is River City Food Bank’s largest fundraiser of the year. The humble, two-day, community-based affair brings together 1,400 community members for lunch or dinner to enjoy a humble, yet delicious meal created by local restaurants. Well-known community leaders and government dignitaries don aprons to serve the guests.

Every Empty Bowls guest selects the artisan bowl of their choice from more than 1,600 available to take home as a reminder of their commitment to fight hunger. Bowls are crafted by professional artists and local students.
