On Jan. 18, Sacramento will host the 35th Annual Capitol March for the Dream, Northern California’s largest Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration. 

The Extra Mile is the Ceremonial Start of the march for leaders and Oak Park residence. The location of the Extra mile is at Oak Park Community center beginning at 8:00 a.m . The official start of the march begins at Sacramento City College at 9:00 a.m The Capitol March for the Dream is free to the public.
