Local health and wellness organizations, Eppie’s Great Race and Nicolas’ Garden are partnering to present the ninth annual Eppie’s Kids Duathlon (running and cycling) along with a children’s health and wellness expo. Activities will have a “Farm-to-Fork” focus, incorporating entertainment, and educational, hands-on health, nutrition and fitness. All attendees can earn their national, “President’s Challenge” Fitness Patch and Certificate and will receive a free Redwood Tree seedlings to take and plant at home, donated by Meek’s Lumber.
