“Named one of the “Top 100 Female Athletes of the Century” by Sports Illustrated, Lyn St. James has set 31 national and international speed records and succeeded in the sport of auto racing at levels unparalleled by any other woman. As a competitor in the world’s largest sporting event – the Indianapolis 500 – St. James masterfully drove her way to earn Rookie of the Year honors in 1992. Over the course of her impressive career, St. James has set the bar for women in the male-dominated sport of auto racing.” LynStJames.com

An Evening with Lyn St. James, Women in the Winner’s Circle will be held Friday, Nov. 13. This fundraiser gathers 250 philanthropists and community leaders from the Sacramento region. There will be a VIP hour beginning at 5pm, complete with complimentary champagne, photo ops and a not-to-be-missed meet and greet with Lyn herself.

Funds raised from the event support exhibits and education programs that serve more than 60,000 people each year. For more than a decade, the event has helped the Museum connect people with cars, ideas, each other, and the world around them.
