Jazz Night at the Crocker heads to a new level with the Anton Schwartz Quintet on the main stage and The Shawn Thwaites Rebel Quartet (STRQ) on the cafe stage.

An acclaimed tenor saxophonist, Anton Schwartz’s modern jazz connects groove with intellect. Schwartz’s latest album, “Flash Mob,” surged to the sixth spot on the jazz radio charts. Inspired by jazz’s greatest improvisers, like Louis Armstrong and John Coltrane, Schwartz creates music that carries an emotional wallop audiences won’t forget. Shawn Thwaites and his steel drum push the limits of innovation, bringing together elements of jazz, R&B, hip-hop and calypso.
