You’re invited to Lucca for an exquisite evening of food and film during the Sacramento Food Film Festival. Guests will enjoy a 4 course dinner created by Chef Ian McBride with an optional wine pairing during the screening of The Hundred-Foot Journey.
The film depicts Hassan Kadam, a culinary ingénue with the
gastronomic equivalent of perfect pitch. Displaced from their
native India, the Kadam family settles in a quaint village in the
south of France. Filled with charm, their new home is the ideal
place to settle down and open an Indian restaurant until the
chilly chef proprietress of a Michelin-starred, classical French
restaurant run by Madame Mallory, played by Academy Award®-winner
Helen Mirren, gets wind of it.
