The second annual Sacramento Public Latte Art Tournament (SPLAT) will be at Insight Coffee Roasters (1901 8th St.) on July 30 at 7pm. Attending will be Brunch Boys Food Truck, Sun and Soil Juice Co, and Zeal Kombucha. 

This is a five month long tournament where the host rotates from cafe to cafe. Last year each competition brought out around 400 people, with 30+ competitors from all over Northern California. The grand prizewinner will be awarded a $4,000 espresso machine, the second place winner will receive a $600 grinder and the third place prize will be a $600 custom-made apron by Anvil.
