Sacramento’s largest, most authentic Oktoberfest celebration, “Sactoberfest” returns bigger and better to the West Sacramento riverfront this October.Now a three-day weekend and open to all ages, Sactoberfest – presented by Spaten Beer and Sactown Magazine – is bringing all of the traditional delights of Germany’s beloved festival right here to Sacramento!

Prost! Cheers under the massive Biergarten tent with traditional Oktoberfest biers from Spatan, Erdinger and Hofbrau alongside local craft beers from Sudwerk, Yolo, Bike Dog and Jackrabbit, and national favorites from Sam Adams and Omission. 

Essen! Taste the deliciousness of authentic German foods (wursts, pretzels, deli items, desserts and more) prepared by some of the top chefs in Sacramento and other local food vendors.

Tanzen! Dance to the music styling of the world famous 21-piece brass Chico Bavarian Band, The Internationals, The Flying Dutchman and the Alpine Horns. Watch traditional Bavarian waltz/polka dancers and put your best moves out there for during the Chicken Dance Off!

Speilen! Try your hand at stein holding, keg rolling, yodeling, beer pong, wurst tossing, corn hole and more and don’t forget to dress up so you can participate in the Best Lederhosen and Dirndl Dress contest!

Karneval! New to Sactoberfest this year is a full carnival offering “Familiennachmittagen” (family-friendly) fun all weekend long complete with more than 20 rides and amusement games.
