Instituto Mazatlan Bellas Artes de Sacramento, a local trend setting leader in performing arts presentations invites you to come and enjoy Grandeza Mexicana.Under the tutalage of Artistic Director Jose Vences, 35 dancers of Los Angeles’s premier performing company Grandza Mexicana brings to Sacramento their latest production “ Un Tributo a Mexico” ( A tribute to Mexico).

With dance set like Quinto Sol (Fifth Sun) a Aztec Meso-American telling of the creation of the world and Carnaval (Carnival) de Morelos (a dance set rarely seen outside of the region of Morelos, Mexico) which blends Pre-Colonial and Moorish Traditions into an elaborate rhythmic presentation. “Un Tributo a Mexico” (A Tribute to Mexico) is a spellbinding production filled with precision footwork & explosive choreography, which will also include a festive mosaic of dance suites from the states of Michoacan, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Guerrero, Sinaloa, Durango, and Jalisco.
