2018 State of Sacramento County | Public/Private Investment in the Digital Age

by Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce

Back Event Nov 2, 2018 @ 11 am

At this year’s State of the County we will be exploring how public/private partnerships are powering cities and regions forward in the digital age.  Demographic and technological shifts are changing the way we consume, commute, and communicate.

These dynamic shifts are having an impact on land use, zoning, and economic development strategies for entire regions. As the Capital Region continues to grow it is imperative that we grow in a way that is sustainable and inclusive.

The discussion of utilizing public/private partnerships will be led by Larry Kosmont, President and CEO of Kosmont Companies. For the last 32 years, Kosmont has advised dozens of communities throughout California on how to strategically motivate private investment while taking advantage of the State’s focus on sustainability and technology. We will also hear from the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors report on the current state of the county and projections for the future. Join us and many other community leaders in discussing the path forward for our region.
