Join Shelly Willis, director of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC) and manager of the Golden 1 Center public art project, as we get to know two local artists whose work will adorn Sacramento’s new downtown arena.

Gale Hart and Bryan Valenzuela will join Willis in conversation to discuss their work and practice, how public art shapes our ideas of place, and what it means to have their large-scale works be part of such a high-profile public building.
