Block by Block — Block Parties

Presented by Crocker Art Museum

Back Event Jun 11, 2016 @ 12 pm

The Crocker Art Museum is throwing a party — a block party that is! Yes, the museum known for amazing festivals and blockbuster events is being joined by artists, musicians, community groups, dancers, DJs, urban gardeners, poets, performers, culinary artists, and creative souls for a party you will not soon forget.

Join us at these free community events, and be blown away by a multi-sensory experience with great food, once-in-a-moment art, friends and entertainment for the whole family.

Block by Block is an initiative of the Crocker Art Museum, focused on Sacramento City Council districts 2, 5 and 8. Through Block by Block, the Crocker aims to strengthen connections between the Museum and its broader community by co-creating neighborhood-based arts experiences with artists, community organizations, individuals and community leaders interested in using the arts to improve quality of life.

The project is funded by the James Irvine Foundation and partnered with the Sol Collective and Sojourner Truth Museum. Free for everyone.
