April 30 - May 4

Back Event

Every year since 1963, the President of the United States has issued a proclamation announcing National Small Business Week, which recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. More than half of all Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the United States each year. The week long series of events are designed to connect the region’s small businesses with local resources and celebrate the important role that small businesses play in the region.

The 2018 Capital Region Small Business Week Celebration recognizes the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners.  It is a collaborative effort of local, state, and federal agencies together with the private sector (both non-profit and for-profit.)  This week-long series of events are designed to connect the region’s small businesses with local resources and celebrate the important role that small businesses play in the region.
