Acclaimed soprano Carrie Hennessey returns to the Crocker for a concert celebrating female composers throughout many eras. With her noted technique and robust theatricality, Hennessey will present a program with works by Alma Mahler (wife of Gustav), Clara Schumann (wife of Robert), and Fanny Mendelssohn (sister of Felix), as well as contemporary composer Libby Larsen.
