The works featured in the exhibition “Full Spectrum: Paintings by Raimonds Staprans” showcase the beauty and drama of Staprans’ use of a single theme: still life. To extraordinary effect, duo Stephanie and Saar take inspiration from Staprans in a program featuring Bach’s The Art of Fugue, which also explores a single theme with astonishing variety.

Playing together on a single piano, Stephanie and Saar captivate with the complex and haunting masterpieces Bach composed at the end of his life. Included in the program will be the composer’s very last fugue, which he mysteriously left unfinished, confounding generations of scholars.
