CodeForFolsom is a two day cyber security boot camp organized by Yellow Circle Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Over 125 students from the Folsom region will converge onto Folsom Lake College campus for the cyber security boot camp, specifically designed for 13-17 year old students, with lesson plans and hands-on activities that engage them in learning information security, identity, authentication, web security, encryption, social engineering, network security and more.

The goal of CodeForFolsom is to increase interest in cyber security careers, and increase diversity in cyber security workforce, ensuring that enough young people are inspired to direct their talents in this area. Cyber Security is critical to the future of our country’s national, economic, and physical security. This cyber security boot camp provides students with 10+ hours of training, along with breakfast, lunch, snacks, awards, giveaways, prizes and more.
