Greg Chambers & The Bumptet

Presented by Crocker Art Museum

Back Event Jul 21, 2016

Sax-man Greg Chambers offers smooth jazz perfect for “grown folk” on the Crocker’s main stage, while The Bumptet moves from deep funk grooves to intricate, fusion-esque lines on the cafe stage.

A Bay Area-based saxophonist and educator, Chambers has four albums to date and multiple hit singles on the “Billboard” Jazz Chart. He has performed in the company of Evelyn “Champagne” King, Howard Hewett, Herbie Hancock, and Wayne Shorter.

The Bumptet has a fresh, sophisticated sound that brings high energy and improv to its genre-bending approach. Tickets may be purchased online or at the Museum admission desk.
