This year’s event is very special as Ca Black Health Network is gaining statewide momentum in their quest to get the President and Mrs. Obama to come to California to celebrate this incredible achievement – the first year of implementation of the Affordable Care Act. In support of CBHN being key player in the outreach and education of the ACA in California, to celebrate this achievement and recognition of the work of all those who have helped to make California the state with the largest number of enrollees.

The President is honored to be able to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Herb K. Schultz, Regional Director of U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Region IX.
