Founded in 1892, the Kingsley Art Club promotes knowledge and appreciation of art among its members and in the community. Their monthly lectures feature local and regional artists and other arts insiders. Sherry Karver explores how individuals relate to busy, crowded places and the passage of time. Using black-and-white photos of these places, she layers oil painting, narrative text and resin surfaces on wood panels to create a new format.
