The Sacramento Ladies Philoptochos Society is hosting a Greek Mardi Gras celebration dinner dance. In Greek this celebration is called “Apokries” which means “say good-bye to meat!” It’s the last celebration before the fasting period of Lent, a time of light hearted fun with friends and family.

The event will feature Greek hors d’oeuvres, dinner and desserts, and live Greek and jazz music by the famed Bay Area ensemble Mediterranean Soul. There will also be Monte Carlo entertainment and a raffle/auction.Masks and costumes encouraged—dress to impress!
