IIDA SACRAMENTO CITY CENTER PROUDLY PRESENTS
THE 4TH ANNUAL MERGE EVENT!

A Creative Collaboration is in its fourth year as the fast paced and not to be missed IIDA Sacramento City Center event created to challenge and inspire. Where local designers from the top Architectural and Interior Design firms turn architectural materials into chic fashion ensembles.

This year’s show will benefit both the Mended Little Hearts Organization as well as IIDA Sacramento’s very own annual Student Design Awards. This fundraising event challenges teams of various design professionals, industry professionals, and students to repurpose architectural and interior design materials into couture runway garments in only a few hours.

Think “Project Runway” meets “Design Star.”

Teams will brainstorm, design and create wearable fashions using various donated interior design materials: plastic laminates, carpet, textiles, paint chips, wall covering, tiles, etc. One member from each team will then model their creation during a much anticipated runway show that same evening.
