“Paris Blues”

Back Event Apr 26, 2015 @ 2 pm

A star-studded film, “Paris Blues” tells the tale of two expatriate jazz musicians (Paul Newman and Sidney Poitier) living in Paris who fall for American gals (Joanne Woodward and Diahann Carroll) vacationing in France. Should they return to the US, or stay in the freer world of Paris? Along with a Duke Ellington musical score, the film features trumpeter Louis Armstrong as Wild Man Moore and jazz pianist Aaron Bridgers.
