On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, RedRover will hold a special “Paws for Pints” Giving Tuesday benefit at SacYard Community Tap House (1725 33rd Street).
Now in its seventh year, Giving Tuesday is a global day to celebrate and encourage giving back to the causes that are close to the heart. From 4-8 p.m. on November 27, local donors, supporters and volunteers will come together to enjoy good beer for a good cause.
Attendees can enter a raffle contest for a chance to win great prizes from local business like Pachamama Coffee, Pet Supplies Plus, Solfire Yoga, Greyboy Pet Prints, Piazza Photography, California Museum, Beauty Emporium and more, while listening to special guest DJ CJ. Say ‘RedRover’ when ordering a beer and SacYard Community Tap House will donate $1 to help animals in crisis. Bambi Vegan Taco food truck will be onsite as well. This is a pet-friendly friendly event.
This Giving Tuesday we are focused on keeping pets safe from domestic abuse by spreading the word that #PetsAreFamily. Funds raised from this event will go towards RedRover’s Safe Escape program. This program helps domestic violence survivors with emergency pet boarding costs while they are at a shelter.
While headquartered in Sacramento, RedRover is a national organization with more than 16,000 members and 4,000 volunteers throughout the United States and Canada. RedRover’s programs focus on bringing animals from crisis to care through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance and education.
