Placer Land Trust Hike Big Hill Preserve

Back Event Sep 9, 2017 @ 8 am

Placer Land Trust’s Saturday hikes resume as summer is winding down. Start your morning with a guided hike led by our trained docents.  You’ll see some great views from the top of Big Hill and learn a little about the local flora and fauna, and our mission to protect natural and agriculture land in Placer County for current and future generations. The Big Hill Preserves contain unusual rock formations, the gently flowing Raccoon Creek, and spectacular panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada foothills and Sacramento Valley.  The hike will be approximately 4 miles and may take 3-4 hours depending on the pace of the group and how many stops are made along the way.
