Prelude to the Season is the premier, annual fundraiser and awards celebration for the Arts and Business Council. The Prelude Awards honor the companies, organizations and individuals making an impact on arts and culture in the Sacramento region.

Funds raised at the Prelude to the Season help to finance SacABC’s programs, including the Flywheel Incubator. Through ticket sales and donations, the organization can fulfill its mission of investing in the region’s creative vibrancy by providing artists and organizations with a map for success.. A single donated dollar raised at Prelude to the Season can be leveraged into as much as three dollars in support to Sacramento’s artists, arts groups and non-profits.
