Silver Ochre: “Who are US 2016 – Observations from the 21st-Century American Road”

Back Event Nov 17, 2016 @ 6:30 pm

Experience the 21st-century American road through the eyes, ears, and fingers of two perpetually touring artists. In nine months of travel throughout the continental U.S., Silver Ochre amassed an immense collection of visual moments and sonic influences that transform the mundane into the exotic and reveal the familiar in the strange.

With ACVilla focusing on the points where people meet their environment and each other, “Who Are U.S.” re-presents a panoply of the unique and the common, the humorous and the tragic, everyday idiosyncrasies and abstractions, undercurrents, hidden agendas and extreme creativity. Accompanied by Thollem’s live soundtrack, “Who Are U.S.” is not to be missed. Space is limited.

Tickets may be purchased online or at the Museum admission desk. $10 Museum members, $13 students/youth, $15 nonmembers.
