Travel Choice: What Will Our Region Look Like in Twenty Years?

Back Event Oct 2, 2014 @ 4 pm

On Oct. 2nd at the Teegarden House Farmers Market & Vendor Faire(located:731 Plumas St., Yuba City) We invite you to spend an hour or so on something very important in our region: transportation.  Our regional transportation agency, the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, is looking for input from as many people as possible to develop its next long-term regional transportation plan for the year 2035.

SACOG wants to engage in dialogue with actual people who care about how we will get to all of our destinations over the next 20 years.  If you’ve never been to a SACOG outreach workshop before, then you are exactly the kind of person they hope to see.  Traffic congestion, repairing our existing roads, building new roads, walking, biking, and public transportation, all are issues that can be discussed at the public outreach workshops over the next couple of months.  The workshops are “open house” style, so you can come and go as you please.  Just drop in anytime during the times listed on the flyers to participate and you will be entered into a drawing for an iPad Mini!
