Join us for a free professional development and networking event featuring motivational entertainer Kevin Bracy on Nov. 10. The event is hosted by United Way California Capital Region’s Young Leaders Society and will include light appetizers, beer and wine, and the opportunity to network with local leaders and professionals.

The event will take place from 5:00-7:30pm at Deloitte, 980 9th Street in Downtown Sacramento, and guests must be 21 or older to attend. The event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to support United Way’s digital equity program that is working to ensure everyone has equal access to technology and the Internet.

United Way California Capital Region has been working to fight poverty for nearly 100 years by creating stronger, healthier, more compassionate communities, now serving Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo counties. The local United Way has found one place in each community to reach the most families in need: School is square one for ending family poverty.

United Way uses its Square One approach to end poverty for local families by helping children excel in school, investing in families, and strengthening schools with resources to address increased poverty and deep roots of racial inequality.
