Food Bank Revolution

Please join Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services on Oct. 27 at 11:00 a.m. to learn more about the Food Bank Revolution. Guests will learn about the recent merger with Senior Gleaners,  SFBFS’ new role as the main food bank for Sacramento County, SFBFS’ revolutionary approach to combine food banking with family services and SFBFS’ commitment to create the first food secure community in the U.S.

Attendees will meet Latdavanh, a woman from Laos who is improving her family’s situation by learning English, studying for the GED and receiving food and clothing through a variety of SFBFS’ free services.

Food trucks will also be on site with tasty lunch options for guests to purchase after the program.Please note that this event takes place at SFBFS’ new Distribution Center at 1951 Bell Ave in North Sacramento (NOT in Oak Park).
