The Sacramento Region Innovation Awards program is the first of its kind in our area. This program celebrates the high level of innovation taking place in our community, and your nomination will help to highlight the individuals and companies creating innovative products and services that are making our work and our lives more streamlined.
Award nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of leaders from Sacramento’s business, academic and technology communities. Finalists will be announced in late-Summer. Finalists and winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday Nov. 4, 2016 at the Doubletree Hotel in Sacramento.

Nominations will be accepted into the following categories:
- Food and Agribusiness
- Sustainability (incl. Clean Tech, Energy Storage, Water, Climate Change Adaptation, etc.)
- Medical and Health Technologies & Services – supported by MedStart (incl. devices, drugs, diagnostics, medical IT products, etc.)
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Software (incl. consumer/enterprise, social media, apps, gaming, cloud, big data, etc.)
- Hardware & Electronics
