Hello and happy Wednesday,
We would like to announce a few exclusive opportunities for your nonprofit or a nonprofit you support.
Comstock’s is excited to announce a special partnership with Kamere, a media start-up company, to identify and recognize the Capital Region’s 10 most inspiring nonprofit stories. The winning stories will be included in the 2015 edition of Capital Region Cares. Starting today, we would like to hear from you or anyone you know who has been personally touched by a nonprofit in our region. This is a unique opportunity to tell the story of what your organization does best.
We would also like to invite you to submit your nonprofit to our comprehensive, online database of philanthropic organizations. We publish a list of the regions nonprofits every year with the production of our Capital Region Cares publication, and for the first time, the list is available online for anyone to access. This list puts all of the regions nonprofits and charitable organizations in one place to make it easy for supporters to find a new nonprofit or get reconnected with an old. We hope that you will update or submit your nonprofit or a nonprofit you support.
We hope that you will pass on the information about these unique nonprofit opportunities, including a special competition from Social Venture Partners (SVP), which is calling all nonprofits to enter their annual “Pitch Fest.” Selected nonprofits receive one-on-one mentoring and compete for a cash prize and continued support from SVP.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best,
Comstock’s magazine
