My Sister’s House 2010 Heroes of Hope Dinner was attended by more than 400 people and honored five heroes that support the organization and domestic violence survivors. My Sister’s House is the Central Valley’s only domestic violence shelter specifically created to serve the needs of battered Asian/Pacific Islander women and children. This dinner marked My Sister’s House?s ninth year of service, which has included providing more than 12,000 nights of shelter and answering more than 2,000 crisis line phone calls. Photos: Tia Gemmell
