Solidigm, an enterprise data storage pioneer, designs and manufactures enterprise solid-state drives (eSSDs), a critical component of next-generation AI infrastructure solutions. Headquartered in Rancho Cordova since 2022, Solidigm operates globally with nearly 2,000 team members and works closely with key companies in the AI ecosystem. Among leadership is a cohort of talented women leading the company’s business, technology and workforce into this AI era.
This includes Pam Tenorio, a seasoned technology leader in strategic planning and marketing, the division that shapes Solidigm’s product direction and roadmap and brings innovations to market. As chief of staff, Pam partners with senior leaders across the organization, drawing on more than 25 years of experience to remove roadblocks, sharpen priorities and drive clarity and momentum.
“When women are supported and visible at every level, decision-making improves, cultures become healthier and innovation accelerates.”— Kristin King, Chief of Staff, Systems Product Development
“When people are empowered to be authentic, and when organizations actively create space for and promote that authenticity, everyone benefits,” Tenorio says.
Solidigm’s Director of AI Strategy, Davianne Duarte, focuses on the company’s AI initiatives, including new products and solutions. Davianne explains that discovering a passion for physics early led her to pursue a Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
“It’s easier to envision yourself in a space where you see a reflection of yourself,” she says. “When I speak at STEM programs, the girls light up when they see another woman in the field. That representation matters.”
Head of Global HR Operations, Ferris Peterson, shares that after a previous career at Intel, she was excited to help establish Solidigm from the ground up, building a scalable, employee-centric HR operation that supports a global, fast-growing technology organization. Peterson says that she is energized by uplifting others.
“I value today being in a position to pay it forward and foster more inclusive, equitable workplaces that empower women and elevate them into leadership roles,” she says.
In systems product development, Kristin King works as chief of staff to drive execution and alignment across the organization. Kristin also leads the Women in Solidigm Empowered resource group where team members share experiences and create learning and development opportunities.
“Empowering women isn’t just a team-level issue — it’s an organizational one,” says King. “When women are supported and visible at every level, decision-making improves, cultures become healthier and innovation accelerates.”
