Elk Grove since 2004. Over the past 20-plus years, Republic has
successfully partnered with the city through continued expansion,
economic growth and waste-related regulatory changes.

Republic has over 25 clean-energy vehicles including fully
electric vehicles that drive the streets of Elk Grove each
weekday to ensure that all trash, recycling, organic waste and
bulky items are collected and processed responsibly with minimum
impact to the environment.
Not only does Republic provide environmental services for the
city, the company is also committed to serving the Elk Grove
community. Whether through monetary donations or in-kind
services, Republic gave over $110,000 to Elk Grove civic
organizations and nonprofits in 2024 alone. Historically, they’ve
supported the Elk Grove Food Bank with grants of over $100,000 in
2022 through the Republic Services National Neighborhood Promise
grant program, which enabled the Food Bank to expand their
operations and feed more food-insecure families.

As essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Republic
frontline employees showed up every single day to continue
keeping the streets of Elk Grove clean. As an organization,
Republic also supported local Elk Grove restaurants who were
struggling to keep their doors open by placing large-scale food
orders to feed frontline employees.
Republic Services is a proud member of the Elk Grove community
and looks forward to supporting continued progress and providing
unparalleled service.
