Sutter Health and Deacon Construction, LLC, partnered to deliver 46,000 square feet of tenant improvements at Medical Office Building 7 in Roseville, California. Together, we’ve completed over 40 Design-Build healthcare projects with Sutter. Projects range from walk-in clinics and urgent care centers to medical office buildings to support their overall initiative with improving patient access and experience. The Deacon team delivered on its promise by completing the multiple floors 1.5 months ahead of schedule and under budget. The medical facility services include diabetes care, primary care, endocrinology, weight loss, nutrition and women’s health.
The team implemented Lean Construction and integrated project delivery principles such as Takt and Pull Planning, right-sized crews and sequenced work to optimize speed and continuous flow. Robotic layout technology further improved precision, which reduced rework and identified issues early. These strategies saved three weeks per floor and contributed to the project’s early completion, along with significant project savings.
This collaborative team consisted of Deacon Construction, Dreyfuss + Blackford Architects, ACCO Engineered Systems and Vasko Electric.
