WELCOMING A NEW REGIONAL PRESIDENT ENABLES LOCAL EXPERTISE AND ORGANIC GROWTH

Plumas Bank

Back Sponsored Dec 2, 2025

Matthew Moseley is a key addition to Plumas Bank’s executive team, driving superior customer service alongside scalable growth. On July 1, the bank welcomed Moseley to a new role as executive vice president and regional president, where he provides leadership across his home community of Redding and neighboring communities of Anderson, Chico, Fall River Mills, Red Bluff and Yuba City.

“I am excited to expand the bank’s impact and champion the local businesses that make our rural communities even stronger.” — Matthew Moseley, Executive Vice President, Regional President

As a relationship-driven community bank, Plumas Bank divides its territory across Northern California and Northern Nevada into regions, which provides local leadership to its communities. This approach directly benefits clients by preserving local expertise and decision-making for its 19 branch locations. It also enables the bank to grow organically with regional oversight that ensures stability as new locations are added.

Central to this model, Moseley brings deep experience to his role, with a graduate banking degree and 27 years in community banking. He began as a bank teller during high school, then advanced through commercial lending, serving as a loan officer and credit administrator, before ultimately becoming president and CEO of the former Cornerstone Community Bank. When Plumas Bank acquired Cornerstone, it invited Moseley to join the team, recognizing both his depth of banking experience and his commitment to the values of community banking.

“Working my way from teller to president gave me a comprehensive and extensive view of all aspects of community banking,” says Moseley. “When we combined Cornerstone with Plumas Bank, I believed in our potential to provide greater support to this entire region. I am excited to expand the bank’s impact and champion support for the local businesses that make our rural communities even stronger.”

Moseley excels at cultivating client relationships and strong teams. As regional president, he champions the success of local businesses. As Plumas Bank marks 45 years of excellence in community banking this December, Moseley remains a driving force in advancing the bank’s mission to make banking personal and powerful for the businesses, individuals and communities it serves.
