Region Business BBQ in the Vineyards
Over seven hundred people attended the BBQ in the Vineyards event, the signature annual event of Region Business. Hosted by their Political Action Committee, the BBQ at the Sugarmill in Clarksburg, was an evening with elected officials from throughout the region, hundreds of leaders from the building industry, wine, beer, food, cigar bar, and a silent auction.
A Heart for the City Jessup Gala

NeighborWorks Paint the Town
Nearly 150 volunteers spent Saturday, September 19, sprucing up 10 homes in South Oak Park during the 26th annual Paint the Town event, sponsored by NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center Sacramento Region.
Hometown Heroes Parade
Hundreds of people lined the streets in Downtown Sacramento on September 11 to honor three men — Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone — during the Sacramento Hometown Heroes Parade. The three men are hailed as heroes for helping stop a terrorist plot on Aug. 21 aboard a Paris-bound train.
Race for the Arts
The 17th Annual Race for the Arts 5K and Kid’s Fun Runs were held August 22 in William Land Park. It was an event with exercise, entertainment, and plenty of fun. Runners and walkers were entertained by costumed characters, music, art, dance, and interactive booths.
NAIOP Annual Development 2016
On September 2 NAIOP Sacramento Valley held their Development 2016 and Project Tour. Attendees enjoyed a hosted discussion of projects and development in our region from the developers and the plans to support growth and development in 2016 and beyond.
